In recent years, EssilorLuxottica adopted a revolutionary tool: Smartshopper, an in-store digital shopping assistant. This corporate project aims to introduce every optician to Smartshopper. In a series of four videos, we treat Smartshopper as an exceptional work of art. The protagonist is Gerard, a sophisticated exhibition curator who leads a group of curious visitors to discover a monographic exhibition of an artist who has made eyewear his main inspiration.

The artist’s creative journey goes from the physical depiction of lenses, frames, materials, and styles to an ultimate work that embeds all previous ones: Smartshopper.
